We started the day by once again heading to Einstein Brothers for breakfast. Brian ordered for Mike, who wanted "an everything bagel with nothing on it." Lois, the woman behind the counter, was quite cheerful. We headed to HoHoKam Park in Mesa, spring training home of the Cubs. Mike went into the stadium while Mark and Brian threw the ball around a while.
Brian and Mark eventually found their way into the stadium. It was a cloudy day, but it only rained briefly during the game. Nomar Garciaparra hit a homerun, and the Cubs beat the Brewers. Mark got his program signed by Sergio Mitre, as well as getting the Brewers lineup card signed by Bob Uecker.

After the game, we spent some time in the parking lot playing catch.

Cassie wanted to play catch too, so we let her.
After playing catch for a while, we headed to Sluggo's sports bar in Mesa to
catch up on some of the hoops action. UW-Milwaukee was playing Boston College, and
the Arizona and Illinois games were on as well. It was somewhat crowded, but fun because people were
cheering for all of the games. We drank the PBR which was on special and had some cheeseburgers "to help charity".
"Which one of them is Charity?"-Mark, concerning the recipient of the cheeseburger proceeds

After having a few beers at Sluggo's, we headed back to the hotel. We decided to take a rest from the bar scene and do something different- so we sat in the hot tub and had a few beers. A few beers turned into lots of beers and some wine too. We ended up sitting in there for hours as people came and went. Brian annoyed some girls by doing his dance beat sound effect over and over again.
We leave Brian alone for a few minutes and he puts on jewelry and poses.
"Are you sure you don't need a fianc-B?"-our question to a girl in the hot tub when she mentioned that she had a fiancee "What kind of workout do you do to get such big arms?"
-a girl in the hot tub to Mark. This question caused quite a commotion. "JACK WON'T"
-the last 8 digits of a girl's phone number. Mark spent several minutes figuring this out after she said that it didn't spell anything.
