Saturday morning brought the first rain of the trip, and we were nervous about that day's game. The baseball gods pushed the system away just as we headed out to Mesa and the sun appeared once again. We arrived about two hours early for the White Sox versus Cubs game. Mike went into the park while Bill, Brian, and Mark threw a baseball in the grass parking lot. While tossing the baseball was a great time, Mike was inside the park getting the autograph of Cubs ace pitcher Kerry Wood.
Once inside, Mark managed to get an autograph of White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko.

During the game, we had seats which overlooked a walkway between sections. Brian often had his head turned away from the game, and was kiddingly reprimanded by an old lady sitting behind him. However, by the end of the game, she was helping point out nice things for him to look at.
After the game, Mark hung out at the White Sox dugout and was rewarded with the White Sox lineup card. He then had it signed by prospects Brian Anderson and Ryan Sweeney.
Next up for the group was a trip even further out in Mesa to deliver some tickets that Mark had sold on Ebay. We passed by an airport which was the storage location for the Met Life blimp.
We returned to the hotel and hung out by the pool for a while with some beers. Definitely a vacation.
