The trip begins. Mike flew in from Dallas, picked up the rental car, and checked in at the hotel. Then Mike and a friend of his (also named Mark) pick up Mark at the airport. The trio headed to Sixshooters, a sports bar. It was a cool place, with dart boards, video games, and pool tables, along with many large screen televisions. Mike's friend told a lame joke to Monique, our waitress at Sixshooters. After dinner and a couple of pitchers, Mike and Mark went to the Comfort Inn and Suites to get settled in. Mark took a quick dip in the hottub. We then went on a late night trip to Basha's. Mark signed up for a Basha's customer card. We picked up some beer, coke, juice, and a few snacks for the week.
