Day one of the trip started with Mark driving down from Greensboro. Mike flew into Orlando airport from Dallas, while Brendan flew in from Dayton via Atlanta. Mark checked into the Amerisuites, then made a visit to a local famous watering hole to celebrate my arrival. Mark then drove around in circles at the airport while waiting for Mike and B. There was a pesky policeman who would often blow his whistle if anyone even thought about stopping without actively picking someone up. Mike brought his Ivan Rodriguez bat, but had to pay $10.83 for a box to carry it in. This box soon created some havoc, as we had to continuously move it when loading and unloading the trunk.

Once we all arrived, we chilled with a six pack at the Amerisuites. We talked about the plan for the next day. Brendan was asking Mike and Mark how to get the pieces of memorabilia at these games. Mike explained that hanging around the dugouts or near the bus would be a good idea. Brendan then wanted to divert the conversation and asked if there were any hot chicks at the games. Mike and Mark said that there might be. Then Brendan said "So while you guys are asking for some guy's jockstrap, I'll be collecting thongs. My goal is to have twice as many thongs as you have jockstraps."
